SOMEWHERE BETWEEN EDMONDS AND MUKILTEO, WA :: My boss very kindly invited us to celebrate the Fourth of July with his family and friends. He and his neighbors gathered together to put on a mini-block party in their cul-de-sac. It was pretty cool! There were several grills and tables arranged on the street and kids running around everywhere. We enjoyed playing holey board, tasting wine, eating great food, and meeting wonderful people. The evening was topped off with an impressive, private fireworks show. Apparently the big rockets and shells are still legal to launch in unincorporated Snohomish County. The fireworks were a lot of fun, but also a little crazy!
