Cirque du Soleil: Mystère
SOUTHWEST VACATION DAY 6 :: LAS VEGAS, NV :: Kristie and I love Cirque du Soleil! When Alegría was in Seattle a couple years ago we saw an enchanting and unforgetable show. We hoped Mystère would be just as good and we weren't disappointed!

Our front row seats immersed us into the performances. Elaborately costumed dancers balanced on our the armrests. We nearly strained our necks watching acrobats fly in large arcs above us. A funny clown interacted with Kristie and teased those that arrived late. On the stage, we saw stunts that you wouldn't think were humanly possible. We were both mesmerized from the moment we entered the theater. Kristie especially enjoyed the taiko drummers. This is Vegas's original and longest running Cirque du Soleil show! Don't miss it!

I should say that I didn't take any of the photos on this page. The ushers are very strict about prohibiting the use of cameras, which may distract the performers. I'm sure it's also to encourage you to buy their program book and the photos taken by their photographers, such as the one of Kristie and me (they made me remove my glasses).
