The Crystal Method
SEATTLE, WA :: Kristie and I don't visit the dance clubs too often anymore, but we figure its good to drop into one every once in a while to see if we're missing out on anything. Tonight, The Crystal Method was playing at Element across from the EMP. It's a relatively new club that occupies the same building as the now defunct Polyesther's. The place has been cleaned up and nicely remodeled. The ambiance is more modern with curved white walls, great lighting, video projectors, and lounging areas throughout. Thankfully, they kept Polyesther's disco floor, but gone is Seattle's largest disco ball.
We only caught about 30 minutes of The Crystal Method. They didn't start playing until 1:00 AM, which is way past our usual bedtime. We left and called it the night just as the techno kiddies were starting theirs.
