KEY ARENA, SEATTLE, WA :: It was a wonderful night at Key Arena! By far, this was the best U2 concert of the three I've seen, and it was the first for Kristie and my sister. The band was enthusiastic and lively, feeding off the incredible energy of the crowd. You could tell the four boys from Dublin were pouring their heart and soul into this show, and having a great time while doing it. Everyone was on their feet, singing, waving and dancing. A few waves and giant beach balls circled around the arena. Bono acknowledged the local celebrities in the audience, including Bill Gates and Eddie Vedder.
He also commented on the beauty of Puget Sound, and on the beauty of his own stage, which was an incredible display of lighting technology. Beautifully choreographed effects perfectly complimented the emotion of their ballads and the soaring spirit of their anthems... What more can I say? It was U2. Again, a wonderful night in Seattle.
Along with the photos, I included a setlist and a few clips from the concert. Enjoy!
